😂 From rib-tickling standup to spontaneous post-set riffing, this is a fun, experimental playground for performers and a chill, welcoming space for the audience.
⏲Sattar Second
Berlin’s Hindi/Hinglish comedy scene comes alive as comics get 70 seconds to impress the crowd — and if the gong doesn’t go off, they can go up to 2 minutes.
Expect short, punchy, and sometimes delightfully unpredictable performances!
Host + comic banter
After each set, the comics will be joined on stage by the host for some playful banter, riffing off the comic’s performance and responding to questions or stories submitted by the audience. 🎩
🎤 Audience Participation:
💌Audience members are invited to share questions, funny personal stories, or quirky experiences — all submissions go into a hat, and throughout the night, the host and comics will pull from it to create interactive, unpredictable, and hilarious moments.
The best audience question(s) will win a free couple ticket for a future Desi Democracy showcase.
If you’re feeling brave, you might even get a chance to step on stage at the end for a short 60-second spot — who knows, you could steal the show!
