They are back!!
One full year has passed since Satellite Inn returned to the scene!
365 days of having fun playing music together again, meeting and greeting old and new friends, hitting the road the old-fashioned way and sharing their passion for the music they love.
While the end of 2024 was spent on the road in the UK and lately on their Italian home turf, the early days of 2025 saw the band sharing stages with great acts like Chris Eckman, Nick Lowe and Joachim Cooder while exploring the possibilities of their mixture of folk-rock, punk and alternative music.
In the meantime, the positive reviews from UK and European press about last year’s comeback Satellite Inn, the band’s first new record after 25 years of creative hiatus, pushed the band to go deeper into their roots for a new album that will be recorded in one of their favourite touring grounds, the South Wales, and it will hopefully see the light in early 2026.
For the occasion, Satellite Inn will team up again with their old friends at the historic El Cortez label in Portland, Oregon, once run by Richmond Fontaine and now a playground for rarities and B-sides from the acclaimed band The Delines.
Tales about an unfinished lost record in the early ’00’s, produced by Robert Fisher of Willard Grant Conspiracy, have been spreading through the ether, and a quick run of shows in the UK before the end of the year may provide some flavours of what’s about to surface.
The only thing left to do is look for a handful of UK gigs, from North to South, in late September/early October and hear for yourselves.
Not forever, just for now.
