Film Summaries:
Coney : A stop-motion visit to the irresistible attractions of Coney Island, CONEY presents the amusement park in many forms, from beachgoers and boardwalks to neon signs and the lights of the ferris wheel.
Gulls and Buoys : Breer's interpretation of the seaside combines fantasy with reality. Original line drawings and rotoscoped imagery are enhanced by a soundtrack composed of common seaside sounds.
Sea Creatures : An underwater look at the inhabitants of the Red Sea. These creatures appear to be from another world yet they are a very real part of the Sea's ecosystem. Imaginative music & sound effects heighten the beautiful underwater photography.
The Selkie Girl : The coasts and islands of Scotland and Ireland provide the setting and source for this iconographic adaptation of an ancient legend.
The Moods of Surfing : An abstract film which interprets the various moods of surfing against the sights, sounds, beauty, and rhythm of the ocean.
