Most students spend months preparing what to solve.

Very few ever practice how they'll perform when the pressure is real.

The SAT Test-Day Simulation is a guided, proctored rehearsal designed to help students strengthen pacing, decision-making, confidence, and test-day execution before the August SAT.

Rather than simply taking another practice test, students complete an original Digital SAT-inspired adaptive simulation while receiving live coaching throughout the experience.

This workshop is ideal for students who already know many of the concepts but want to improve how they perform when the clock is running.

Who Should Attend?

This workshop is ideal for students who:

• Have already completed some SAT preparation and want to strengthen their test-day execution.
• Aren't sure how their skills will hold up in a realistic testing environment beyond at-home practice tests.
• Want to experience the pacing, pressure, and decision-making of test day before the official exam.
• Freeze, rush, overthink, or lose valuable time during timed exams.
• Want to identify performance habits before the August SAT—not after it.

**If you are a students who notices a gap between practice and official SAT performance, you can use this time to identify whether pacing, strategy, decision-making, focus, or testing habits may be contributing to that difference.

Throughout the simulation, students receive live coaching on:

• Recovering after difficult questions

Students receive time checkpoints, pacing reminders, strategic audibles, and coaching prompts throughout the simulation.

No answers are given during testing.

• Adaptive second modules based on first-module performance
• Laptops required for digital testing environment (charging ports available and paper backups available as needed)
• This experience is designed to improve test-day execution, not predict an official SAT score.

About the Instructor

Makayla Bullock is the founder of MethodK Learning Design, where she specializes in helping students build the academic systems and test-day strategies needed for long-term success.

Makayla holds a B.S. in Information Science and previously worked as a Data Scientist, applying analytical and research-based approaches to learning design. She has 7+ years of tutoring experience, including work with college and university students, and continually refines her workshops using educational research, student performance data, and real-world classroom experience.

Rather than relying on one-size-fits-all methods, MethodK SAT performance workshops are designed to help students understand why strategies work and how to execute them consistently under pressure.

Arrival Window: 7:45–8:00 AM
Doors Lock: 8:05 AM (No late entry)

While this is not an official SAT administration, we intentionally maintain a structured start time to help students experience realistic test-day expectations. (Just to note: The official SAT administration locks the doors at 8:00am not 8:05am)

8:30 AM — Adaptive Simulation Begins

• Live pacing coaching

10:15 AM — Reflection & Performance Analysis

10:30 AM — Collaborative Question Review

• Student presentations
• Instructor coaching
• Strategy discussion

11:30 AM — Final Performance Feedback & Wrap-Up

Before You Attend

Approximately two days before the workshop, students will receive a preparation email containing:

• Test-day instructions
• Materials checklist
• Recommended pacing strategy
• Reading and math approach
• Digital testing expectations
• What to review beforehand

Students should review these materials before attending so they can focus on executing—not learning—the strategy during the simulation.
