SAT AM - Carve & Print Your Own Greeting Cards workshop with Robin

Get a head start on the holidays and celebrate with handmade charm! Join Robin Roberts as she shares the art of linocut printmaking to make your own greeting cards.

Using easy-to-carve rubber blocks, each person will create a festive design, carve it, and hand-print a small set of unique greeting cards perfect for sharing with loved ones. If you've been to one of Robin's workshops before...you know it'll be fun and full of "mixed media delight!"

In this workshop, you'll learn:

• relief printmaking and linocut basics
• how to brainstorm and sketch card designs
• safe and effective carving techniques
• how to ink and hand-print your designs onto note cards

Students will walk away with a set of unique and personal hand printed cards to share with loved ones or to frame and enjoy.

Supply List for Students to Bring:

• All other supplies will be provided as part of the $20 materials fee (paid directly to the instructor)
