In this introductory 3-week class, we will be focusing on learning the basics. The first 2 weeks making the vessels, the 3rd week trimming (cleaning up) your pieces.
The goal for this class is to get you comfortable on the wheel, and students will also get outside practice time as desired when participating in our 4-week Class.
This class is $225, which includes 15 lbs of clay plus all studio glazes and electric kiln firings, and unlimited open studio time five days a week (the studio is closed on Tuesday & Wednesday). Extra clay is $5 per pound if you end up needing more.
Anyone aged 14 and over is welcome to join but students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.
*Students will need to come back to glaze their own piece to give it a colorful and glossy surface. The glazing fee is already included in the workshop, you will get an email notification to schedule your glazing date once we complete a bisque firing for your piece.
