Whether you are taking an official course or not this group is intended to be a self-study support group that holds each other accountable. Let's meet, study, ask each other questions and get the support needed to one day pursue a career using Japanese!
Your job is to select the study material you want to use before you show up. Bring a textbook, a novel, an article, an online course, flashcards, videogame. Anything is fine as long as it is in Japanese and at your reading level. Don't forget to bring pen & paper to write down things you have learned that day!
How much: Since this is a self-study group it is free. We only ask that you make at least one purchase at the location we meet up to support local business.
During our 1 hr meeting our time together will be broken up in the following way:
15 min. - Meet and Greet
30 min. to 1 hr. - Self-study your material, everyone works individually.
15-30 min. - Ask questions, get help with a translation, study some more, etc
