SASS Open House

SASS has 60 Acres Park in Redmond, WA reserved this coming weekend, August 8th and 9th, for an Open House. As part of the activities, there will be a demonstration Discus Launch Glider (DLG) contest on Sunday at noon which will include an announcer explaining the different contest tasks that the pilots will be flying. It's a great opportunity for curious folks (including friends and family) to understand and learn more about this aspect of the RC hobby. SASS will also have a winch and high start setup for pure sailplane flying for anyone with an AMA license.
