Sashiko is a type of traditional Japanese embroidery or stitching used for the decorative and/or functional reinforcement of cloth and clothingIn this class, students will learn how to patch and reinforce clothing use the Japanese embroidery technique of Sashkio. Students will go in depth and appreciate the art of mending through other cultures. Join us to develop new skills and meet other crafters!All tools and materials provided. No experience needed. Ages 10+All event ticket sales are final and non-refundable. If you cannot make it to the event, please feel free to send a friend in your place. If you are unable to do that, we still cannot refund your ticket, but you could think of your payment as supporting our SCRAP-y little creative reuse non-profit!
