SASFest 2027

Join us for our second annual film festival SASFest 2027! Featuring films made by CNY filmmakers, actors, and in the CNY area! We've locked in the dates at The Palace Theatre already for 2027 and extended it to a 3 day fest: Friday-Sunday, April 23rd-23th! More info coming soon!

Donations encouraged: as is our tradition every SAS, the event is free and open to the public, friends and family and the general public are encouraged to attend, but we are encouraging people to make a donation at the door to support our Syracuse Actors Studio (SAS) and The Palace Theater, who have generously partnered with us for this awesome event! We hope to raise money to help them continue to keep the theatre going for many local filmmakers and wonderful shows, and also as a fundraiser for SAS to help us keep hosting wonderful programs open to all!
We are looking for volunteers for doorpeople, ushers, and to help sell merch. More info TBD...
We will be posting our EventBrite link to reserve your space which also will include a link to make a donation in advance.
We are also looking for individual or corporate sponsors for our event to help support these two great beacons of art in our community: The Palace Theater & Syracuse Actors Studio! More info TBD...
The Palace Theater will have a full bar and concessions with snacks, candy, and popcorn. Please enjoy responsibly but also help us support them for being such gracious hosts.
We are also looking to partner with food trucks so everyone can stay the whole day and enjoy! More info on that to come.
This is a great annual event to invite family and friends and the general public to. Please feel free to share with whoever you think would love to come!
We will have some merchandise out from our films and many of the filmmakers and actors will be around for Q&A and to sign merch as well.
Street parking is free after 6PM and on weekends. The Palace also has a parking lot behind the theater and has use of the United Healthcare parking lot across the street. See the Palace website for map and details.

Syracuse Actors Studio is always a free monthly meetup for actors where we learn from and practice acting with each other. Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to attend! Filmmakers, writers, playwrights, producers, casting agents, and observers are welcome as well. This event is especially open to family, friends, and the general public to showcase our work. We couldn’t be more excited to have you!
