As promised, our Syracuse Actors Studio will continue on the last Monday of each month (or second to during holiday months/conflicts). During our second session, we will be led by a phenomenal local actress, Laura Stisser, who will speak about the do's and don't's of auditioning as well as taking us through an interactive audition demonstration and exercise. We will continue our monologues with two prepared actors and leave time for volunteers (this is your queue to prep one in advance), followed by a simpler and better-than-last-session's improv exercise, while leaving time for everyone to network/meet 'n' greet with other local actors.We will meet in the lobby at 7PM to socialize before our room is available around 7:15-7:30. Please arrive promptly because the front doors will be locked. (Anyone locked out please call/text Joe Cunningham 315-863-9407)
Syracuse Actors Studio is a free monthly meetup for actors where we learn from and practice acting with each other. Actors of all experience levels are encouraged to attend!
Street parking is free at that time as well as the Key Bank lot.
There will be a hat out for donations for our host, Safe Space CNY at the end if anyone would like to support.
