SARF Forum
About this Event
Join us at the SARF Forum
The Severe Acute Respiratory Failure (SARF) Forum brings together senior members of the Critical Care multidisciplinary team to share experiences, discuss current practice, and explore practical approaches to ventilating critically ill patients.
This year's programme focuses on a collaborative, team-based approach to respiratory failure and mechanical ventilation, highlighting the role of education, standardisation, and multidisciplinary working in delivering high-quality patient care.
Topics include the evolution of lung-protective ventilation, the benefits and challenges of airway pressure release ventilation (APRV), electrical impedance tomography (EIT), prone ventilation, and how multidisciplinary collaboration can support more consistent, evidence-based ventilation strategies.
Designed to encourage discussion and the exchange of ideas, the SARF Forum offers an opportunity to learn from peers, share experiences, and gain practical insights that can be applied in everyday clinical practice.
We look forward to welcoming you to the SARF Forum.
