About this Event
We're heading somewhere a little warmer for April… to Sardinia, the island of endless horizons, salt-washed air, and some of the longest-living people on earth 🌊☀️🍷
Sardinia is home to one of the world’s famous Blue Zones — places where people routinely live well into their 90s and 100s. Life here feels deliciously unhurried: long lunches, strong family ties, daily walks through hill villages, and glasses of local wine shared late into the evening.
The landscape shapes everything. Think windswept granite hills, wild herbs in the air, sheep grazing the mountains, and the deep blue Mediterranean stretching out forever.
Culture here is equally vibrant. Throughout the year Sardinian towns burst into life with traditional festivals — processions through cobbled streets, music across piazzas, tables piled high with pecorino, bread, olives and seafood. These gatherings celebrate community, land and harvest — and of course, wine.
This tasting is inspired by that spirit: sun, sea, longevity and Sardinian hospitality.
Seasonal touches will include rustic breads, olive oil, island cheeses and simple Mediterranean flavours to accompany the wines.
✨ Expect to enjoy a taste of Sardinia with 6 glasses, including:
🍾 Vermentino – coastal, bright and saline, like sea spray in a glass
🌿 Ancient whites – rich, herbal and quietly complex
🍒 Cannonau – Sardinia’s legendary red, generous, warming and linked to the island’s Blue Zone longevity
🌺 Island reds from mountain vineyards – wild, aromatic and sun-soaked
The wines we’ll taste capture the island’s soul: windswept vineyards, ancient traditions, and a culture where a good glass of wine is simply part of living well. 🌊🍷✨
