Sarah Politte

"There's a quiet wisdom in her swing that's rare at any age. Having spent many hours with Sarah in the studio, what strikes me most is her ear for melody, her deep respect for jazz, and the emotional honesty she brings to every note." — Justin Armstrong
Born in St. Louis Missouri, this nineteen year-old, two-time All-State Jazz Vocalist is fresh off the release of her highly anticipated debut EP, In Wonderland. Recorded at Marigny Studios and produced by Grammy-winning sound engineer and producer Justin Armstrong.
Sarah is truly an accomplished performer, being involved in musical theatre for years and playing lead roles such as Dorothy and “The Wizard of Oz” and Liesl in “The Sound of Music”. Her sophisticated artistry in jazz has already earned her a completely sold-out show at The Blue Strawberry and opportunities to perform and record alongside esteemed jazz artists such as Wycliffe Gordon, Marina Albero, Allen Vizzutti, and Lori Mechem.
With a voice described as "chocolate melting" Sarah Politte breathes new life into the timeless classics of the Great American Songbook. Her repertoire also includes Brazilian jazz and her own original compositions, written in the classic songbook style. And with Valentine’s Day right around the corner, this show features plenty of jazzy love songs, perfect for an early Valentine’s celebration!
