Welcome! To our NEW STYLE Blues BootCamp!
Everything that you would expect from a Sara White's BootCamp - and so much more!
In addition to all of the fabulous teaching sessions, practices, individual attention and fun, friendly atmosphere - now we have included TWO freestyles into your weekend! The perfect way to put into practice all that you've learned.
This will be a fabulous weekend of intense learning – and of course lots of laughter, hard work and oodles and oodles of fun!
BootCamps offer us, as teachers, the opportunity to take you, as dancers – as far as we possibly can in the space of one intense weekend! Very exciting!!
Our Blues BootCamp is all about learning…
Learning to push beyond our comfort zone and stretch ourselves to leap from our current dance plateau with new skills, new understanding, new confidence and much more ability!
And we’ve got lots of exciting new techniques, insights and top tips to share.
Every BootCamp is different, so it doesn’t matter how many times you attend – the program, the teaching team, the focus and the flow are always different. The people we invite to work with us are different. Meaning you’ll take something different from it each time. It doesn't matter how many times you attend - you will always leave with something new to work on, and lots more things to play with!
We want to share our love of Modern Blues with you and equip you with all the skills and confidence that you need to enjoy this fabulous dance form – at whatever stage you have reached on your dance journey.
Our aim is to further your ability and your love of dancing musically.
We believe in working from the ground upwards. Focusing intensively on the building blocks of good technique, structure and confidence.
During the course of this BootCamp weekend, we will drill you on the basics and beyond. We will stretch your dancing beyond your current boundaries and open up a whole new world of movement and music for you.
We will encourage you to think, feel and dance differently, with the music as your guide and good technique to support your journey.
Our plan is to work you very hard… Whilst ensuring you have a whole heap of fun doing so!
Teaching sessions will focus on the following:
Technique
Musicality
Styling
Flash
Lead/Follow finesse
Musical Movement
Transitions
Spontaneous Choreography
And above all…. CONFIDENCE
After a day of varied workshop sessions, on Saturday evening there is a freestyle evening included in the package for you to relax, enjoy and practice what we preach.
And then on Sunday we will pick up where we left off in the morning, and add finesse to your dance all during the day.. Until our 2pm Blues Emotion Freestyle starts and you'll get to enjoy dancing with other Blues-loving souls as this is included in your package too!
Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be provided for you. Please feel free to bring along lunch and/or snacks. We have full kitchen facilities at this venue, so a fridge/microwave etc are available for you to use.
The cost is £135 per person (to include all workshops and teaching sessions, as well as Saturday/Sunday freestyles) or grab yourself a bargain by booking as a lead/follow couple for £250 booking together
