Following a successful career in the fashion industry — designing shoes for Paul Smith and working as an art director for leading magazines — Sara made the move into painting, taking the contemporary art world by storm. Each piece is meticulously crafted through multiple layers of oil paint (and sometimes real lipstick), resulting in her signature, photo-real finish that’s instantly recognisable.
Drawing inspiration from her years in fashion and publishing, Sara’s art captures the glamour, confidence, and energy of modern femininity. Her work has been exhibited internationally at prestigious venues including The Saatchi Gallery, Next Street Gallery in Paris, SCOPE Miami, and the Royal Academy of Arts, and regularly features in Bonhams auctions.
