Sapphic Creative Writing Group (October)

Location: Marietta.
Writing Prompts to pick from for this meeting (You can write all, but only choose one to share, or combine them all in one story):

1. Losing touch of reality.
2. No one is listening to you.
3. Your best friend confesses a secret.

I will provide a google drive where you can add your story to. I will send the link closer to the date of meeting/in comments as well.

Please come prepared, as we will be sharing work inspired by the creative short story writing prompt and receiving/giving feedback.

\*Please note: It's okay if you didn't finish the story! You can still come and share what you have for feedback\*

Also, may be grabbing dinner after the group meet ups - this is optional to join, location is TBD.

A space for Sapphic individuals to write creatively and socialize in-person.

Our aim is to create a safe space for sapphic people to foster creativity, encourage self-expression, and a sense of community, discover new ideas, share your work, and receive supportive and constructive feedback from fellow participants.

General set up:
-This will be a monthly Sunday meet up of 3 hours.
-Limit of 14 sapphic individuals.
-Please RSVP and arrive in a timely manner.
-There will be a 30 minute grace period at 1PM for introductions, chatting, getting coffee, etc. Please be early or on time.
\- Then we will start reading stories one by one\, and giving feedback in a circle\.

We encourage short stories to be 250-2000 words maximum. Please challenge yourself to keep story within this range (poetry can be shorter than 250 words).

Poetry/other forms of creative writing are welcome just as long as it's prompt related :)

Your story does not have to be finished to attend.

No prior writing experience is necessary – all skill levels are welcome.
Bring your favorite notebook, pen, or laptop, and let your imagination run wild.
