Directed by Todd Haynes and starring icons Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, “Carol” is a story of queer awakening, queer yearning, and the lengths we will go for authenticity and connection, all set along the 50s wintry holiday backdrop of New England and beyond. Come join us for a screening at the Trylon Cinema, won’t you? Don your gayest Carol apparel for a costume contest with prizes, and capture the moment with a $5 photo opp by local artist Pearl Monroe of On The Shelf Studio. December 20th, doors 3:30, show at 4.
