Get ready for a thrilling night of mystery and deception at Bampot for a Sapphic Blood On the Clocktower event!
About this Event

Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the world of social deception games, this event offers an opportunity for all those under the Sapphic Umbrella to gather as a community and share a game night. Come solo or with friends and immerse yourself in a game of Blood on the Clocktower (BOTC). Our events are a great way to connect with members of local communities and are perfect for folks arriving in Toronto looking to make new friends.

Age recommendation for Blood on the Clocktower, 19 years +

What is Blood on the Clocktower? Blood on the Clocktower is an advanced version of the game Werewolf, and crucially the dead still have an important role to play in the game. The game is run by a Storyteller who has carefully crafted an experience and facilitates the game for up to 20 players. It is part deduction and part deception. Set in the little village of Ravenswood Bluff, players in the game assume different roles, each with unique abilities to hunt down the evil or stay hidden as one.

For new players, check out this video created by our head storyteller Jeremy, to learn the basics of the game ahead of the event. There will also be time at the top of the game to review rules and ask questions.

General Admission Tickets: Thanks to the generosity of Bampot House, we will have their back room in which to play BOTC. Tickets for this event include access to the game, a tutorial of the game Blood on the Clocktower if new players are in attendance, and a full playthrough of the game.

After your game, join @casscervi (Cherry Bomb) for more Sapphic activities, with a rotation of events in the front half of Bampot with tickets available for purchase at the door. See their Instagram for what’s coming up next!

Tickets for both events are priced and sold per person.

Changeling Membership Admission: Our Changeling Membership includes event discounts for our paid subscribers. After just two events in a month our members save, with a potential for over $80 in savings monthly! Each Membership ticket must have a single individual corresponding Patreon membership subscription. Proof of subscription will be required at the door.

Attire: For a game like Blood on the Clocktower, which thrives on atmosphere and a mysterious setting, we encourage attire, but do not require. But! If you choose to dress for the occasion, we recommend garments with dark, moody colours like black, deep purple, or blood red.

Food & Drink: There is no minimum for this event, but supporting our hosts is encouraged. Bampot House has an impressively extensive tea list available (with more alcoholic and non-alcoholic options), plus an excellent menu for snacks and meals to pair with the game.

Event Photos

Photography: For full privacy and comfort, photos for social media and marketing materials are not permitted in the space. However, you are welcome to take your own photos with friends, but please point your camera away from fellow attendees.

: Changeling Gaming is a collective of game instructors who host both public and private game experiences in Toronto and together create game content for YouTube. Our mission is to help folks find the right games for their tables and to create safe, accessible, and welcoming spaces to play games and make new friends along the way.

About : Toronto's first anti-cafe, Bampot's regular operations feature a $6/hour cost for unlimited tea, coffee, and use of the space and their board game collection. The space is warm, welcoming, and feels like stepping into your own living room.

A note about Canadian Blood Services (CBS): Our events are only possible because of local community support. At Changeling Gaming, we work to give back so that we can all keep gaming together.
