SANTA SPECIAL 13th DECEMBER 2025THIS EVENT IS TICKET ONLY (THIS INCLUDES MEMEBERS)
Gate open at 1.45pm and train rides start at 2pm.

Admission prices. Adults £15, Children £15. Children aged 12 months and under are admitted free and will receive a free present.
Tickets will need to be booked for the required train.
Trains will run at the following times
2pm, 2.25pm. 2.50pm, 3.15pm, 3.40pm, 5.05pm, 5.30pm 5.55pm, 6.20pm, 6.45pm, 7.10pm.
Booking tickets online will close at 12 noon on 12th December 2025 After this time, please call our ticket line on 07716672936.
The ticket helpline 0771662936 will be available at the following times.
Monday to Friday 7pm until 10pm
Saturday and Sunday 11am until 6pm.
The Santa Specials at the Yeovil Railway Centre are an enjoyable experience for everyone from ages 1 to 100.
You start your visit with a train ride behind one of our diesel locomotives and travel in a decorated heritage carriage with windows to see out of and a seat for everyone. Our track is about 1/3rd mile long, so the train ride is full of fun for the children but not long enough for them to get bored.
Visitors then make their way to the ex GWR Transfer Shed, where Santa will be ready to receive his visitors. All children will receive a free present from Santa.
The Adult ticket includes a free mince pie and a hot drink (tea or Coffee).
After you have concluded the visit to Santa you may wish to visit the Gift Shop (located on the platform) where there is a large selection of books, DVDs, Model Railway items (second hand) and much more.
Our model railway will also be open.
Come and see the multi award winning Christmas display's put together by our volunteers. you also can dance and play in the snow falling from above.
