Santa Rosa | Discover Girl Scouts

Join us Saturday February 6th at 5:00pm in the Multi-Cultural museum at Santa Rosa Junior College.

This free event is for 4-8 grade girls and gender expansive youth who want to join Girl Scouts and explore Girl Scouts and local history. This is not a "drop off" event, and all caregivers must stay with their New Girl Scout during the event.

• 4th to 8th graders
• Girl Scouts who RSVP will receive a FREE Girl Scout Activity to take home and goodie bag after you sign up for a local troop!
• We will engage in a short informational presentation and after engaging in a fun Girl Scout activity.
• Please note that there is no dedicated parking for the museum. You can park in any spot on campus designated as student parking with a permit, which you can purchase for $4.00 from any of the kiosks, located in each lot. We typically recommend the Emeritus lot, just across Elliott Avenue from the Bertolini Student Activity Center. There is also metered parking in Burbank circle, right in front of campus, or in the Don Zumwalt Parking Pavilion (#98 on map). Visitors requiring handicapped parking will find spots in all lots, including in the Emeritus lot and in Burbank circle. Girl Scouts prepares the next generation for a lifetime of leadership, friendship, and community stewardship. It's an amazing experience for youth, but there are also many fun ways for parents/caregivers to get involved as well.

Join us to get your questions answered and learn about the benefits of this girl-lead program, how your family can get started, and the next steps in starting up new troops.

Este es un evento para nuevas Girl Scouts y jovenes de genero expansivo del grado 4 hasta el grado 8, para que conozcan sobre nosotras y explorar nuestras opciones durante este evento. Durante el evento, padres/madres van aprender como unirse con las Girl Scouts y observar las actividades de Girl Scouts para crear un robot artistico y mas.

• ¡Vamos a repasar una presentacion corta de como unirse a Girl Scouts y luego empezar una actividad!

Las Girl Scouts preparan a la próxima generación para una vida de liderazgo, amistad y como ayudar con servicio comunitaria. Es una experiencia increíble para los jóvenes, pero también hay muchas maneras divertidas para que los padres/cuidadores se involucren.
