Cognitive synopsis:This mystery of why a young couple kidnapped Alisha and want to K*ll her is told in reverse chronology in this dramatic suspense psychological thriller that will make you reconsider, you may not be who you think you are.
Award-winning director Evan Richards and cast members will be in attendance.
Director's Statement:
"Cognitive" is what I would consider on the surface to be a drama with psychological thriller elements. A popcorn film, that hopefully also explores various themes engagingly and intellectually of the supernatural through it's unconventional storytelling. A mystery that presents an initial set up that in it's arc gives the viewer character and story clues throughout the film, that will allow the viewer to come up with their own interpretation of events by the end of the film.
Days of Whine synopsis:
The tale of man driven to Hitchcockian levels of madness by a neighbor's noisy extractor fan. Shot entirely on Super 8 with in-camera effects. Days Of Whine was included in the 2021 Straight 8 Festival's top 25 films of the Festival screening.
