Area youth are invited to participate in the Santa Cruz Elks Lodge Annual Hoop Shoot!
On Saturday, Nov. 16, the Santa Cruz Elks Lodge will partner with the Santa Cruz Warriors to host its free Hoop Shoot/Free Throw contest. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the contest starts at 9 a.m. The event will be held at Kaiser Permanente Arena located at 140 Front Street in Sannta Cruz.
The event is free for ages 8-13 years-old and involves a free throw competition. Participants are invited to arrive starting at 8:30 a.m. to warm up and register for the event. Contestants will compete for a variety of prizes and a chance to advance to a district event. From there, the winner can move on to a regional and even a national contest opportunity.
