The Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department (AVFRD) is excited to announce our annual “Santa Ride” through the neighborhoods of Lansdowne (12/6) and Ashburn (12/7)! With the help of our off-duty firefighter “elves,” Santa will be making his way through town on a festively decorated fire truck “sleigh,” spreading holiday cheer.
This year’s Santa Ride will occur over multiple nights, starting at 6:00 PM on Friday, Dec. 6th, from Station 22 in Lansdowne and at 5:00 PM on Saturday, Dec. 7th, from Station 6 in Ashburn.
Santa will be making a special stop at the Ashburn Village Sports Pavilion.
Please keep in mind that the schedule is weather-dependent. If weather conditions force a cancellation, we will try to reschedule.
Final decisions regarding cancellations or changes will be made one hour before the run and posted on AVFRD’s social media pages to help families plan accordingly. We look forward to sharing the holiday spirit and hope to see you there!
