"What cause you ask? Parks and Recreation is teaming up with Kiwanis for an event that will help fund inclusive playground equipment. Come out for a 5K run or walk that is in the spirit of the season. What a sight it will be as a wave of red takes off down the trail! Register early to ensure you get your choice of Santa suit or commemorative race tee. Registration deadline is 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4. After the deadline, registrations will only be taken on race day and will include a $10 late fee (shirts and suits not guaranteed).
For kids 11 and under there will be a 1K option. Receive one free 1K entry per paid 5K entry (please call the office to register for the free entry).
