Sankofa Season: Session 04 — Gathering the Bundle📅 Thursday, Nov. 21 | 7 p.m.

🍲 A meal will be provided. Event is free.
Join us for the final gathering of Sankofa Season as we come together around a bonfire to return to our first story and invoke our names. We’ll start with personal introductions and share movements that reflect unseen parts of ourselves. If you’ve joined us before, we welcome you to lead us in recalling the motions from earlier sessions.
Witnessing and Reflection:
Together, we’ll look back at the stories shared throughout Sankofa Season, exploring our common threads and unique perspectives. This session will focus on how our shared stories can serve as medicine and inspiration, helping us build a stronger, connected community.
Lighting the Way Forward:
We’ll close with a round dance around the fire. Participants are invited to write down stories they are ready to release and place them, along with tobacco, into the fire. This symbolic act of transformation will be a step toward renewal. Our collective stories will form a community artifact that will be displayed at various local organizations throughout the year.
Let’s honor our journey, celebrate our shared stories, and light the path forward together.
