Sangha means community. BIPOC stands for Black, Indigenous, People of Color. Sangha Yin for BIPOC welcomes people of color at all stages of their healing journey.

This healing space created for communities of color provides support and solidarity. Gathering in this way offers a safe environment to heal and share our stories and experiences without fear. Joy will be embraced and welcomed as we connect in this culturally relevant space.

We’ll find liberation through Yin Yoga, Pranayama, Community Connection and much more. The validation and acknowledgment of our experiences are essential for our individual and collective healing. Welcome yourself into this container of ease, resilience, and empowerment.

About the facilitator:

Wanda Carreras from @todoyogamiami is a Cuban-American yogi and artist passionate about addressing the diversity gap in wellness. As a 500hr-certified yoga teacher, she aims to embody the roots of this ancient practice and share it with others to heal and grow.

After a decade of practice, Wanda completed her 200hr certified yoga teacher in 2021 at Ahana Yoga. Since then, she has earned her 300hr certification from Susanna Barkataki's, Embody Yoga's Roots training. Wanda is also certified in Yin Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and Herbalism. By incorporating elements of sacredness and intention into her classes, Wanda creates a nurturing space for her students to dive deep into their own healing journeys.
