Presenting Marathi Musical Drama (Sangeet Natak) "Sangeet Saubhadra” (संगीत सौभद्र) in a condensed format for the first time ever in Europe starring talented artists from Berlin! Produced by Minerva and presented by Berlin Talkies.
'Sangeet Saubhadra' was first staged in the year 1882 by Annasaheb Kirloskar. Being one of the earliest known musicals of Marathi theatre, the play is based on a classic tale from the Mahabharat. Minerva, a venture by Diksha Barve, Berlin Talkies and a team of Berlin based talented artists have made their humble effort to stage this musical for the first time ever in Europe.
Arjun’s fiance is going to wed his archenemy Duryodhan by the order of Balaram, lord Krishna’s brother. By various ingenuities, Krishna finally tricks Balram to wed Subhadra to Arjun.
