On Saturday morning, June 20th, we will be out canvassing registered Democrats in Sanford door-to-door, starting at Angel's Soul Food (2516 Sanford Ave, Sanford).
After the canvass, we're going to meet back at Angel's Soul Food for some good old fashioned comradery...aka hang time with your SemDem friends! We're calling it The Canvass After Party, and we'd love it if you came.
> Even if you can't make it to the actual canvass, you're still invited to come hang out with us at the after party. Angel's Soul Food is known for its homemade sauces, gravies, and Southern comfort dishes like fried chicken, smothered pork chops, & delicious BBQ ribs to enjoy with SemDem friends!
> Canvassing teams will finish at different times, so the group may form bit by bit, but we're certain the the team at Angel's Soul Food will be happy to see you and serve you whenever you arrive.
> If you'd like to join us for the canvass as well, please sign up below. Canvassing is one of the most effective ways you, as an individual, can inform & turn out voters, especially in tight elections.
> But again, this after party meet up is open to all SemDems, as well as perspective SemDems! Come learn about canvassing, talk about your favorite hobby, vent about the latest infuriating current event, & make some great friends. Afterall, SemDems really do make the very best friends.
> Getting to know our fellow volunteers, building community, and having fun are all important parts of the job! We hope to see you there!
