Fresh off a stunning tribute to Ella Fitzgerald in April, vocalist extraordinaire Sandra Dudley returns to NJW’s Jazz Cave for another tribute to one of the most influential jazz voices of the 20th century, Carmen McRae. With a career that included an array of vibrant musical collaborations with jazz giants such as Billie Holiday, Dave Brubeck, Louis Armstrong, Sammy Davis Jr., and George Shearing, Carmen McRae received 7 Grammy Award nominations over nearly 40 years of recording. Join us and hear the legacy of swinging jazz giant interpreted by the masterful educator and vocalist Sandra Dudley!
