Sand Mandala Creation: Closing Ceremony

Join us for a closing ceremony celebrating the completion of a sand mandala at the Renée Crown Wellness Institute.

Following the completion of the Chenrezig Mandala, the Venerables will consecrate the Mandala, emphasizing the concept of impermanence by gracefully sweeping up the sacred Sand Mandala.

To honor this meaningful occasion, participants are encouraged to take home a small packet of sand as a cherished keepsake. The remaining sand will be poured into a water body, where it can release positive and healing energies into the world. (To facilitate this, we will embark on a journey to Boulder Creek to disperse the sacred sand).

This event is drop-in. We will gather in the Peace Place at the Crown Institute on Tuesday, December 12th, beginning at 4:00 pm. As space is limited, please RSVP to make sure you are able to attend. The event will be primarily standing room only, with a few chairs in place for those needing an accessible option.

There will be additional opportunities throughout the week to view the sand mandala during its creation.
