SANCTUM--a seasonal immersive dance ritual returns for a rite of Spring.
Join us in the inner sanctum as once we gathered in wooded glen to dance together round the original fire on the damp new earth.
Awakening now from winter's slumber we stand at the vibrant threshold of spring, living guardians of the vernal gate. Here, in this liminal space, let us pause to commune for a single beat, narrow and infinite, perched between the dark and the returning light. As we dance, so too the delicate sprouting of buds and the first tender blooms of the wildflowers.
SANCTUM, as we mean it, is an immersive dance experience. Inside a temple the inner sanctum is a held space within the broader space. A room to hold energetic intention and sacred objects. In the body the inner sanctum is the heart, the center of love, the beating pulse of life itself.We welcome expression of your most high intentions and your sacred wild selves. On this night, for this organic ritual, let the music be the pulsing heart of the communal body and let love be the law.

Māh Ze Tār is propelled by the vision of fusing traditional eastern music with modern electronic composition as a form of cultural preservation. Each Māh Ze Tār set is uniquely dynamic- The listener can expect to hear the ancient sounds of the Sitar and Oud in one song and the timeless melodies of the Hulusi, Ney and Duduk in the next- bringing a kaleidoscope of emotions through the wide plethora of ancient sounds, mesmerizing vocals, and grooving beats. Māh Ze Tār seeks to make familiar that which seems “other” through serving the sounds of distant lands on a platter of familiar body moving bass lines and thumping grooves. Māh Ze Tār is an active performing member of Balkan Bump and has had significant musical collaborations with Desert Dwellers, David Starfire, Jef Stott, Morillo, Akriza, Nyrus and many others.
RËIA: Rooted in the rich traditions of the Middle East,RËIA's signature sound is a captivating blend of exotic beats, tribal, middle eastern, and Latin rhythms, all harmoniously converging to create a hypnotic groove. She sprinkles in elements of hip hop and R&B, adding a modern twist to her sets, making them accessible and relatable to diverse audiences.Her selections are more than just songs; they are chapters in a story that takes her audience on a transformative journey through sound. With each beat and melody, she guides her listeners on a path of self-discovery and emotional exploration, urging them to dive deep into the world of sensation and expression.
AAZAV emerges from the fusion of Kai Altair and Haj i Ji's passion for music that animates both body and soul. Drawing from ancestral vocal traditions and deep woods sensibilities, their sound is a convergence of medicine melodies and global organica—a call to the central fire of remembered futures. For this event Aazav reveals a new dimension to their project—a tag team DJ set. Join Aazav in the communal sacrament of rhythm and the natural rite of dance.
ZAPHOD Together with the dancers, he spontaneously curates an ecstatic wave unique to that moment's dancefloor. The boundaries of genre give way to a multi-faceted soundscape of African and South American rhythm, world electronica, grimy glitchy bass, and heart-ful melodies aplenty!
