Sanctuary Stories: A Journalism Theater Project

Join us for a performance of a “live” documentary about immigrants, activists, clergy and others facing a national immigration crackdown in Chicago, a sanctuary city.

Brought to life on stage by actors—and told as well through video, sound and live music— experience the true stories of people impacted by policies and policing.

This first-look performance is produced and directed by Northwestern journalism professor and filmmaker Craig Duff and reported by veteran journalist Stephen Franklin.

Featuring the talents of theatre artists Gabriela Barrios, Amber Dow, Tessa Huber, Jean Marie Koon, Chuck Munro, Lori Navarette, Huy Nguyen, Matt Specht and Petter Wahlbäck. With an original song by Flo Estes.
