Sanctuary City by Martyna Majok

Sanctuary City tells the story of two childhood friends brought to America as children who become one another’s sanctuaries. This play by Pulitzer Prize-winner Martyna Majok explores the intricacies of friendship and immigration against the backdrop of post-911 America. A reading of the play will be accompanied by a full meal (Bring Your Own Bottle) and live music, followed by a discussion about crossing borders & the immigrant experience in the US.
