Sanctorium, 37 years of Sanctuary!

Saturday 8th August Sanctuary celebrating 37 years - After first opening the doors in August 1989 at The Site in Kings Cross, then after a few years moving to the Jungle and Porthole Bar inside Wynyard Station, when that too closed down, we were looking for another venue but were not successful at that time... then along came the reunion in 2012 at The Valve in Tempe with David K and what an incredible night that was, seeing many faces I had not seen for years, I then started another club called No Rest For The Wicked and did that for a few years and after many people asking me what happened to Sanctuary, I decided to relaunch the club in December 2016 at the Valve - now almost back for 10 years already !
Taking over two levels of The Lansdowne Hotel, a massive line up with some of the best alternative DJ's to make sure that nobody will leave the dancefloor all night, only to stop and grab a drink or two, have a chat in the chill out spaces available, and to get back on the dancefloors. One level will mostly be Goth Alternative, the second floor focusing on the more Industrial tunes.

The Lansdowne will open at 9 PM If and only if the demand is there, and for people to buy enough drinks .. we can stay open till very late .. just like it used to be... If I can do that.. you can too.
