SANAM ist ein Sechs-Personen-Orchester aus Beirut, das experimentellen Rock mit traditioneller ägyptischer Musik und moderner arabischer Poesie verbindet. Ihr Sound bewegt sich zwischen Psych, Krautrock, Jazz, Elektronik und Improvisation. Vielschichtig, atmosphärisch und stilübergreifend. Die Band wurde 2021 nach einer gemeinsamen Performance beim Irtijal Festival gegründet und besteht aus Mitglieder*innen bekannter libanesischer Acts wie Kinematik, Postcards und Al Rahel al Kabir.

SANAM is a six-piece ensemble from Beirut that blends experimental rock with traditional Egyptian music and contemporary Arabic poetry. Their sound moves between psych, krautrock, jazz, electronics, and improvisation—layered, atmospheric, and genre-defying. The band was formed in 2021 following a joint performance at the Irtijal Festival and features members of renowned Lebanese acts such as Kinematik, Postcards, and Al Rahel al Kabir.
