Contra Dance in San Rafael: Sat, JULY 11, 2026 7pm - 10pm
Join us this Saturday evening for a contra in San Rafael with Caller Cheryl Graubart and music by Raven & Goose (Corwin Zekley & Grace Fellows). Doug & Shanna Moler, managers.
Rumor has it that this duo may be moving to the East Coast, so be sure to mark your calendar for this event! You can also hear them play exquisite English tunes at the Mill Valley English Country Dance early that afternoon — make it a day of dance; there’s time between the dances to grab a bite to eat with your fellow dance fanatics!
Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin is at 240 Channing Way in San Rafael, about 10 minutes north of the foot of the Richmond-San Rafael bridge just off Hwy 101.
Admission $15 NBCDS/BACDS/CDSS members; $20 not-yet-members; $10 or pay as you can/limited income. First time dancers get in free -- arrive at 6:30 pm for a newcomers' orientation.
Masks are optional at our contra dance series. If you are not feeling well on the day of the dance, please take care of yourself & the community -- stay home and join us another time.
* NBCDS dances are fragrance-free events. Please refrain from wearing scented products.
* You are invited to bring snacks to share at the break.
* Bring a water bottle & stay hydrated!
