SUNDAY afternoon contra in San Rafael from 4pm to 7pm with Green Gates (Jon Berger, fiddle; Roxanne Oliva, accordion and flute; Todd Silverstein, sax and penny whistle) and Dane Wallinga calling with gender neutral role terms. $13 members, $15 not-yet-members, $8 youth and limited income. First time contra dancers get in free -- bring a friend!Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin is at 240 Channing Way in San Rafael, about 10 minutes north of the foot of the Richmond-San Rafael bridge just off Hwy 101.
For this month and next, we're holding our monthly contra on Sunday afternoons due to conflicting use of our hall. Since Hayward is *not* holding 2nd Sunday contras in September or October, we decided this time would allow East Bay dancers to join us. If you're not attending Echo Summit, please come up to Marin to dance with us!
NBCDS dances are fragrance free.
