Join us for the 33rd Annual San Juan Island Artists' Studio Tour!In the early summer, when the flowers start to bloom again, San Juan Island artists open their doors and welcome you to peek into their studios, their creative process and their worlds. This is a special chance to meet island creators in their own spaces and your invitation to experience a diversity of island art.
Explore San Juan and visit 23 workspaces, following a self guided tour map which will lead you to tucked away home studios, secret gardens and gorgeous views, featuring the work of 66 local artists. Find paintings, sculpture, furniture, pottery, textiles, jewelry, wearable art, and more. Meet the artists in person, and learn about how their work is made. Check in and visit artists that you know and love, and take the opportunity to discover new island creators.
This free event is a fantastic way to see the island, from Roche Harbor all the way to Cattle Point. Spend the weekend exploring the historic town of Friday Harbor, stay overnight in one of our many lovely lodging facilities, and crisscross the island on our scenic roadways, either by bike or by car. Or, consider renting a fun moped! Plus, each individual studio will be offering a door prize: fill out the raffle form located at each venue for a chance to win a piece of art from an island artist!
