San Francisco Opera Presents: A Monkey King Double Feature

Join the San Francisco Opera's Department of Engagement and Connectivity for a cinematic deep dive into the legendary Monkey King at the Historic Great Star Theater in the heart of San Francsico’s Chinatown. This FREE Community screening blends storytelling across mediums from iconic Chinese animation to modern opera and action-packed fantasy.

Attendees are not required to view both films and may choose to leave or arrive between screenings. While we hope you have the time to spend the afternoon with us for both features, we understand that different families have different needs and in recognition of that, late seating will be accommodated throughout the afternoon.
