San Francisco Frozen Film Festival SFFFF Celebrates 20 Years!
About this Event
In 2026, the San Francisco Frozen Film Festival will proudly celebrate its 20th anniversary. After two decades of bold, independent cinema, this milestone year promises an incredible range of storytelling and artistic expression brought to the heart of San Francisco.
FEATURING OVER 150 FILMS FROM OVER 90 COUNTRIES
As part of its ongoing nonprofit mission to share exceptional art with the Bay Area, the 2026 festival will showcase films from across the globe, alongside standout projects from both emerging and established Bay Area filmmakers. Many filmmakers will be present for live Q&As throughout the event.
Audiences can look forward to a diverse lineup, including powerful dramas and documentaries, inventive experimental shorts, sharp-witted comedies, compelling short film narratives, cutting-edge experimental works, surf and skate films, and intricately animated features, each selected to move, inspire, and entertain.
The festival will take place from July 15th to 19th at The Crossing Outdoor Cinema (250 Main Street, SF), welcoming the community for in-person screenings and special events. Recognized by Moviemaker Magazine as one of the “Top 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World” and called the “best festival deal in town” by the San Francisco Chronicle, SFFFF TWENTY26 is not to be missed.
In addition to the in-person program, SFFFF TWENTY26 will also include a curated online film component, expanding access to audiences around the world.
