The San Francisco Brass Band invites you to experience Love and its many sides through a powerful program of music spanning romance, tragedy, and joy. Featuring works by John Williams, Elgar, Holst, and Peter Graham.Featured Works:
John Williams – Suite from Far and Away – sweeping, cinematic romance.
Imogen Holst – The Unfortunate Traveler – a vivid and dramatic musical tale from the daughter of Gustav Holst.
Peter Graham – A Portrait of Paris – a sparkling cornet/euphonium duet inspired by the city’s landmarks and charm.
Edward Elgar – Nimrod from Enigma Variations – a timeless expression of devotion and reflection.
