Join us for a conversation with award-winning journalist Marcela Turati as she discusses her groundbreaking book, San Fernando, Última Parada, chronicling her twelve-year investigation into the 2011 mass graves in San Fernando, Tamaulipas, and the disappearance of migrants at the Mexican border. Turati’s work exposes the systemic failures of justice, the human toll of cartel violence, and the broader forensic crisis in Mexico. Through her compelling narrative and interviews with victims’ families, witnesses, and experts, Turati gives voice to the silenced and uncovers the brutal political and social forces behind these tragedies.
