Samhain: As fall turns toward winter and the land goes dormant, the wheel of the year turns to Samhain. A time of endings, remembering the dead, and honoring the Dark Goddess, Samhain marks the final harvest. It is a time to remember what legacies we carry with us, and to be reminded of our place in the birth, life, death, rebirth cycle as descendants and as future ancestors. At this point in the dark half of the year the veil is thin between worlds and we listen for lessons shared by our ancestors of blood and spirit and we lay to rest all that which has lived out its usefulness in our lives. We seek wisdom from the Dark Goddess, in her many forms, and follow her path through the darkness remembering always that the only way out is through and there is magic in the journey.
