Get ready for an unforgettable night as The San Diego Music Hall of Fame (SDMHOF) celebrates its 7th Annual Induction Ceremony on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at VISION: A Center for Spiritual Living in San Diego. This joyful evening honors the artists and cultural champions who have shaped the sound and soul of our city — past, present, and future.

Over the years, SDMHOF has inducted iconic artists such as Jason Mraz, Jack Tempchin, Sue Palmer, and The Beat Farmers. Now, the Class of 2025 joins this prestigious legacy — a dynamic and diverse group whose contributions have made San Diego music what it is today.

Rosie Flores – The “Rockabilly Filly,” Rosie’s trailblazing blend of rockabilly, punk, and country has made her an international sensation and one of San Diego’s most celebrated guitar heroines.

John Reis – A cornerstone of San Diego rock, Reis has left an indelible mark through genre-defining bands like Rocket from the Crypt, Hot Snakes, and Drive Like Jehu.

Kamau Kenyatta – Grammy-winning producer, jazz artist, and educator, Kenyatta is known for his profound collaborations with Gregory Porter and decades of mentorship across San Diego.

Bob Magnusson – One of the world’s premier jazz bassists, Magnusson has played with legends from Sarah Vaughan to Art Pepper and has mentored countless young musicians.

The Dinettes – Bold, feminist, and unforgettable, this pioneering all-female punk band emerged from San Diego’s DIY scene in the early ’80s with fearless spirit and infectious energy.

Bart Mendoza – A lifelong champion of San Diego music, Mendoza is a performer, historian, journalist, and promoter whose contributions span genres and generations.

Eulogio “The Soul Man” Fos – A beloved cultural figure, community connector, and joyful presence, Soul Man has inspired audiences for decades with his guiro and his generous heart.
