Homeschool Parents and Vendors! Did you know that homeschooling families for charters like Pacific Coast, Cabrillo Point, Mission Vista, Freedom Academy (to name a few) have just a short amount of time (April 1 for PCA, CPA, MVA and April 15 for Freedom) to request products and services with their leftover funds?We are working to connect homeschooling vendors and parents for a Speed Networking Summit on Tuesday, March 28 from 6-8:30PM at our Jiu Jitsu academy in Point Loma (The Stronghold, 2176 Chatsworth Blvd) and possibly Yeeha Boba 2 doors down if we reach capacity. This is how the Networking Summit would work:
Vendors would be set up in a “Round Table” like fashion and parents have 2 minutes to meet and connect. For vendors, it is recommended to have a flyer (not just a business card) of offerings, SPECIFIC prices and dates available for services. In order to maximize connections, we will be following the 2 minute rule as close as possible and give opportunities to network after the Summit is done. We will also have computers and volunteers on site to help request services before parents leave so vendors can answer specific questions and ensure completion of vendor service requests for Enrichment certificates.
For parents, participation is FREE! We also will be serving Light Apps and beverages.
Important Announcement! ☺️☺️ By popular request we will have Kid Activities! 25 spots max per 45 minutes so you have enough time to talk to vendors. We have 3 time slots available for Kids Activities in case you don’t have childcare, please indicate which slot you’d like: 6-6:45PM, 6:45-7:30PM, 7:30-8:15PM when you register thank you!
