The San Antonio Dutchmen Polka band is also known as the San Antonio Combo and S.A. Country for the wide variety of music they play. The band plays for weddings, anniversaries, picnics, Oktoberfest, Wurstfest, festivals and public dances all over South Texas. They specialize in South Texas Style German and Czech polkas and waltzes. The band members are all descendants of German immigrants that came to Texas in the 1800’s. They are multi-talented and can play a variety of instruments which gives them the ability to provide a variety of arrangements and sounds and also allows them to play some authentic Country and Western music as well.
