SAMUEL: HOLLYWOOD VS HOLLYWOOD

In the 1930’s, a Russian Jewish emigre came to Ellis Island, where he changed his name to Samuel Bronston and then moved to California to produce movies. In the fifties and sixties, he was in Spain creating Hollywood glamour, complete with famous actors, like Rita Hayworth and John Wayne, epic historical themes, casts of thousands and stirring musical crescendos.
