Samuel "Funflow" is a world renowned instructor from Spain. He teaches Salsa, Bachata, and Zouk from Asia to the Americas, giving an extra flavorful touch to all these rhythms, mixing them with hip hop and urban energy. His classes are characterized by methodical teaching, a unique flow, and his spontaneous sense of humor.Xavi has recently moved back to the US after a residency in Europe, where she trained and taught all over the continent. She is our resident BachaZouk specialist, with a MAC certification and 5 years of Bachata instruction experience, always furthering her dance education. She leads and follows in Salsa, Bachata, and Zouk and has a playful, soft, and connected style.
Join us for a 2 hour masterclass on Saturday April 25, followed by a 30 min guided practice, combining their expertise to explore how to fuse techniques from Brazilian Zouk into Bachata, and unlock creativity in both roles through Bachata partnerwork.
No experience with Zouk or a partner is required.
