Fourteen-year-old Aboriginal teenagers Samson (Rowan McNamara) and Delilah (Marissa Gibson) leave a remote community in the Central Australian desert and run away to Alice Springs, where their relationship endures violence, substance abuse and isolation.Powerful and nuanced, this debut feature from filmmaker Warwick Thornton took out the Caméra d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival and the Asia Pacific Screen Award for Best Feature Film.
